One page, double-spaced mock movie review of just ONE of the following aspects of Citizen Kane, once you’ve viewed the movie and read ch 12. Write in the pretend voice of a movie critic analyzing not the movie’s overall entertainment value, but how Orson Welles, the director of the film, conveyed one of the following:
-Welles’ visual design
-The performances & Welles’ directing, of his own character and others (which stood out for you, and why?)
-The cinematography (camera shots, deep focus, use of staging, and tone/shadows)
-The story structure and how it relates to the structure you’ve been taught (does it?), which this may or may not also actually be
